One of the great things about MIT Sloan is the rate that it punches out new startups. A buddy of mine, Jeff Vyduna, is involved with Poll Everywhere, the “do-it-yourself” audience polling tool. Jeff is one of those crazy guys who pops out of an amazing consulting company, goes to school for a year, meets [...]

All of this recent talk about Steve Job’s health has got me thinking back to a team paper I helped write in Business school.

It begins when champion shopper, and liquid foundation connoisseur Ivonna R couldn’t sleep. Rather than prescription medication, or her latest beau, Ivonna turned to the [...]

I’ve been scratching my head lately at Apple’s iPhone application store, wondering what grand plan is at work in Cupertino. iPhone applications are terrific, and the breadth of the platform could give the device a commanding lead over its rivals. Certain apps, like Remote, Google, Twitterific and NYTimes are remarkable additions to the platform and are certainly [...]

The opening ceremonies were incredible. But then, it makes me wonder why I had to wait until 7:30 to see them. While waiting, I composed the following thought-piece:
<sarcasm level=”11″>
Beijing, China – One of the most spectacular opening ceremonies in Olympic history unfolded today, observed around the world by an estimated 1 billion people. …
In the [...]
